About Lin
I am a first-year undergraduate at the LSE. I was born and raised in China until seven years old before my family and I moved to Singapore. However, my family is majority Chinese speaking, therefore, I am still rooted in my Chinese culture and its unique heritage. I have excelled in all national examinations, constantly achieving straight "A" in Chinese and Higher Chinese. i have tutored at least 20 students in Chinese.

I have tutored many students in Singapore and all of them have shown significant improvement in their mastery of Chinese. A student I tutored last year, jumped from grade D to grade A in his Final Year Examination. I would attribute this success to his hard work and my tutoring skills where I was often able to spark the interest of my tutees. Many of my tutees have described me as someone responsible, interesting and passionate. At the end of the day, I hope my tutees can improve their Chinese standards but most importantly I hope they will be able to appreciate the beauty of the Chinese language and its unique heritage and culture
