Hi! I'm Preetom Gogoi. Since I started coding , I've focused on building real-world applications — including projects in healthcare, tourism and education, plus a content management system.
I love sharing practical knowledge, and my teaching is built around the same approach I use myself: hands-on learning that digs into core concepts so you can actually build things, not just memorize syntax. My Approach to Teaching Programming My goal is to empower you to become a confident, self-sufficient programmer. I believe the most effective way to learn is by doing, exploring, and building, just like in the real world. My Teaching Techniques & Methods We'll dive straight into hands-on learning. I'll guide you through practical exercises and projects from day one. Instead of just lecturing, I'll provide you with clear explanations and then challenge you to apply what you've learned. When you face hurdles (which is a natural part of coding!), I won't just give you the answer. Instead, I'll direct you to the right resources and show you how to find solutions independently. This approach fosters crucial problem-solving skills and builds your confidence as a self-explorer. The Usual Structure of a Class Our journey will begin with the foundational building blocks of the web: HTML and CSS. Once you're comfortable structuring and styling web pages, we'll progress to JavaScript to add interactivity and dynamic functionality. Each concept we cover will be immediately followed by beginner-level projects that gradually increase in complexity. You'll continuously apply new knowledge to build something tangible, seeing your progress unfold with every session. My Special Features as a Teacher My unique strength lies in my practical experience. I've recently transitioned into programming myself, building full applications (projects still in development phase), so I can say with some confidence that I understand the beginner's perspective and the common challenges faced. I'm dedicated to helping you grasp the core fundamentals through a project-driven methodology. My focus isn't just on teaching code, but on teaching you how to learn code effectively and independently, preparing you for the demands of real-world development. Who Are These Classes For?
