I scored full marks on ABRSM theory, Distinction in ABRSM grade 8, and have an Associate of Trinity College London Level 4 diploma. Currently, I am a student, so I understand deeply the importance of efficient practice. Rest assured that every minute of my class will be efficiently used.

From $120 an hour, I teach 30 to 90-minute lessons.
Each lesson is meticulously planned so that it is engaging and challenging. This ensures interest in the insturment is preserved while musical ability is improved.
An important part of the lessons is goal-setting. From the first lesson, I must understand the student's ambitions very well. If a student's goal is to play simple music in their spare time, I will make lessons satsify that goal. If a student wants to pass a Grade 8 ABRSM exam in two months, lessons will be more focused and challenging.
An example lesson looks like this:
- 20 minutes technical skills such as scales, Hanon, Czerny, etc.
- 20 minutes small pieces
- 20 minutes improvising to develop musical versatility
The 60 minute lesson is comprised of three parts, each taking 20 minutes long. Then, after the lesson ends, the student should practise by themselves for an hour as how they practiced with me, during the lesson.
My lessons are for anyone interested in piano. You could be someone casual who wants to play songs you like, or you could be someone who wants to pass a diploma exam and win competitions.
