About Kayla
I am a violin tutor with over eight years of experience and a Bachelor of Science in Orchestral Studies where I served as a violin section leader. I love using technology to help my students improve. We use slow-down apps, DAWs, MIDI notation, and video feedback to analyze and refine your playing. This is especially helpful if you want to record violin parts for original songs or covers. I am passionate about teaching Jazz Violin, Rock Strings, and Indie Folk. My lessons also focus on improvisation, helping you create your own musical ideas. I design custom backing tracks so you can practice with a full band feel. You will learn to play with better timing, intonation, and creativity. My approach is modern and practical, preparing you for real-world playing situations. I believe that technology opens up new possibilities for violinists.
