About Lisa
I have been passionate about music from a young age, starting piano lessons at the age of 5 and following that love of music through to earning a BA in Music. With over 15 years of experience teaching piano, alongside 9 years as a primary school teacher, I also hold a PGCE in Primary Education. As an experienced choir musical director, I've had the privilege of working with both individuals and groups, guiding them on their musical journeys. My goal is to inspire others to learn and develop a lifelong love of music, making lessons engaging, enjoyable, and tailored to each student's unique path.

As a piano tutor with over 15 year of teaching experience, my approach is based on creating personalised lessons tailored to each student's individual needs, learning style, and musical goals. Whether you are a young beginner or an adult looking to pick up a new skill, I design lessons that are both fun and engaging to make learning enjoyable and motivating.
Having worked as a primary school teacher, I have a deep understanding of how to keep students engaged, espeically younger learners, through a variety of techniques that make learning music exciting. For me, it's important to build a solid foundation in both piano and music theory, while ensuring lessons remain interactive and dynamic.
I work with students of all ages and abilities, from beginners to intermediate players, offering a supportive and encouraging environment where they can develop their skills at their own pace. With my experience and passion for teaching, I aim to inspire and foster a love of music in every student.
