About The Music Base Drum School
I established THE MUSIC BASE 18 years ago, with the aim of creating a fun and friendly specialist drum school, for aspiring musicians of all ages. Over 18 years later, many students who first started at THE MUSIC BASE have gone on to pursue a career in music and others continue to have regular lessons as a hobby fulfilling their love for the drums.
Since the age of 15, I have been fortunate enough to have performed at some prestigious venues including the Royal Albert Hall and Wembley Stadium. I also played in the London 2012 Olympic Opening Ceremony. I have played on various music projects including a UK top 10 album and was featured in UK magazine 'DRUMMER' for my teaching.
I have studied with some of the world's best musicians (Chris Coleman, Jojo Mayer, Tom Meadows), as well as spending a year at the world renowned Drumtech studying Music Performance.
I teach students from 5 to 70 years old and enjoy being able to help each student achieve their individual goals. I teach Rockschool and Trinity grades for those looking to work towards their exams.

At THE MUSIC BASE we offer 1-2-1 tailored drum lessons, for all abilities from beginners just starting out to advanced players who are looking to sharpen up their skills. The main focus in lessons is to have fun whilst learning how to play a new instrument and improve your musical knowledge and skills.
Why the drums? The drums is an instrument which requires all four limbs to be doing something different at the same time. It is a great instrument to learn if you are looking to improve your coordination, rhythm, concentration and confidence. Whether you are looking to play along to your favourite song, take your mind off a busy day or aspire to pursue a career in music, the drums offer something for everyone!
