My approach as a tutor is to have fun with the student while learning. The lessons are tailored to you and your needs. My teaching methodology is to use a variety of techniques: conversation, reading, writing... A typical lesson plan could be reading a short passage and then the student answers questions about the contents, or we discuss them. What sets me apart as a tutor is my empathy and sensitivity re: what strengths the student already has and what still needs building up. For German and French I teach toward degrees and conversation, and for Mandarin Chinese I teach conversation and, if desired, teaching writing characters. I also teach ESL and essay writing. I would love to work with you!
