About Kammi
I’m Kamran, and Economics has always fascinated me for the way it connects real-world events with everyday life and the ever changing world and its complexity and interconnectedness. I achieved an A* at GCSE and an A at AS level, and later completed a Graduate Diploma in Economics as well as a Master’s in Interdisciplinary Psychology.

My lessons are designed for GCSE Economics students who want to understand key ideas clearly and improve exam technique. I achieved an A* at GCSE and an A at AS level, and I also bring a wider background in philosophy and psychology, which helps me explain concepts and economic behaviour from different angles. I was educated in one of the best economics departments in the country in the Royal Grammar School, Newcastle. Lessons are typically one hour long and focus on breaking down tricky topics (like supply and demand, market failure, or government policy) into simple, relatable examples. I can also support with essay-writing, structuring answers, and building the confidence needed to perform well in exams. My approach is patient and encouraging — I want students to feel that economics isn’t just a set of theories, but something they can understand and even enjoy and change how they see the world!
