About Amanda
"Customizing the path to fluency is how I operate best. I sometimes struggle to keep our sessions short because our conversations become so engaging.
We practice everyday conversation and writing skills using my CELTA training. Business travelers often request interview preparation and exam speaking practice. I provide mock speaking exams with feedback to build your confidence.
You will notice improvements in your vocabulary and overall comprehension. Working together on your specific goals is an iterative process."

"Do you feel hesitant when speaking English in formal settings? I use my MA and CELTA credentials from McGill University to help you find your voice. Over 8 years of teaching, I have supported 488 students including newcomers settling into Canada.
My background involves training French immersion graduates and professionals alike. I enjoy building a warm atmosphere during our time together. Seeing a student finally master a difficult idiom is truly rewarding."
