About Yvonne
You will receive a personalized song list built around your specific range to ensure that every exercise feels sustainable for your voice. When we move through pitch control or performance confidence, I apply the same structural care that I learned during my BMus studies. Whether you are a self-taught player looking for a system or an intermediate learner, I adjust my pace to match your current needs.
It is important to me that you understand the anatomy of your instrument while we work on your chosen repertoire. By keeping the atmosphere unhurried, we allow space for you to experiment with your own sound. I will be here to provide guidance on your vocal development.

You probably have a specific vocal range that we should explore together. My BMus from the UBC School of Music gave me the technical foundation for 13 years of teaching. I perform with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, which keeps my own ear very sharp. You will find that I am quite detail oriented with my feedback.
We can focus on head and chest voice or perhaps genre styling for pop and musical theatre. It is helpful to address stage fear management early on. My studio in Montreal provides a safe environment for your growth. I just want to listen to where you are starting from.
