About Mae
With over 20+ years of teaching experience and more than 5160 students successfully guided, I have helped learners develop strong violin skills while building confidence and artistic ability. My teaching experience includes beginners, intermediate students, advanced performers, and individuals preparing for examinations, concerts, competitions, and auditions.
Many former students have performed in orchestras, chamber groups, recitals, and public events while achieving recognition for their musical achievements. Others have continued into advanced music studies and professional performance opportunities.
I believe the violin is one of the most expressive instruments and offers endless opportunities for artistic growth. My mission is to help learners achieve technical excellence, musical confidence, and a lifelong appreciation for performance and creativity.

Violin lessons are designed to combine technical precision with artistic expression, helping learners become confident and versatile musicians. Training includes posture, bowing techniques, intonation development, rhythm accuracy, music theory, sight reading, ear training, repertoire building, ensemble performance, and stage preparation. Lessons are carefully structured to suit each learner’s experience level and musical goals.
Students engage in performance exercises, technical development routines, sight-reading activities, interpretation workshops, ear-training sessions, and guided practice strategies. Lessons encourage learners to develop strong foundational skills while cultivating musical sensitivity and performance confidence.
Advanced learners explore advanced bow control, expressive phrasing, solo repertoire, audition preparation, performance psychology, ensemble leadership, artistic interpretation, and professional-level violin studies. This comprehensive approach supports long-term musical growth and performance excellence.
