I’ve been teaching 6th grade math for 15 years. I often make my own resources to simplify math concepts for new learners. I love to make math visual by using pictures and modeling with real objects. We don’t just look at words and numbers, we look at each problem as a real situation and that makes figuring out what to do so much easier!
