About Linda
You will find that my approach centers on your specific technical needs. I watch how you hold the instrument and adjust our improvisation or soloing exercises immediately. We spend time reading sheet music and tabs to build a solid foundation.
After each class, I share free chord charts and tab sheets so you have clear references for your practice. These materials help you keep your progress consistent. My 14 years of teaching allow me to spot exactly where you need to adjust your lead guitar work. Feel free to bring any song you want to play.

Playing flamenco and Latin guitar since I was a child in Bogotá led me to pursue a formal education, eventually earning a Bachelor of Arts in Music at Berklee. It started as a way to connect with the nueva trova tradition, but it quickly became my entire life. I have spent 14 years refining my acoustic and electric technique, which I now share with performance-focused students, intermediate learners, and absolute beginners.
I often find myself explaining how a specific fingerpicking pattern mirrors a vocal line, because the music is incomplete without the language and the history behind the notes. It is simply how I exist.
