About Lisa
Communication starts when you commit to active listening. You will receive weekly conversation practice recordings for us to review together in detail.
My BA Music background from Berklee informs how I break down phonetic patterns for your ears. During my 15 years of practice, I have learned that everyday phrases stick best when connected to rhythm. We will work through specific writing skills and prepare for DELE exams using these musical techniques.
This approach keeps the energy high while covering complex grammar. You simply bring your curiosity and I will handle the rest of the technical side.

Rhythm and language are inseparable parts of my teaching character. I hold a BA Music degree from Berklee and spent 18 years performing across Latin pop and Tex-Mex stages.
My journey began in Mexico before I transitioned to 15 years of instruction in the US. I guide adults through the nuances of Latin American and Castilian variants daily. My methods rely on clear cultural context to ensure every student grasps the underlying intent of their phrases.
I assist those navigating immigration or relocation by providing a bridge between musical expression and linguistic competence. Teaching is an extension of my life as a performing musician. I stay focused on the melody of speech to help you sound natural.
You will find my approach both structured and genuinely fun. I am ready to get you speaking with total confidence.
