About Laverne
Agility in the left hand is surprisingly less important than mastering your internal rhythm. I bring 3 years of experience and my Eastman School of Music training to help you navigate scales, arpeggios, and sight reading.
I have guided 135 students toward better intonation and precise spiccato and staccato bowing techniques. Music has been the center of my life since childhood. My personal narrative centers on building technique without losing the pure joy found in the violin. My background from the Eastman School of Music ensures that every instruction is rooted in high level performance standards. We will move through complex music theory and advanced bowing exercises at a steady pace.
