About John
First sessions reveal your habits. Breathing is central. I utilize my 13 years of professional experience to guide your vocal placement. Homework vocal drills are assigned after every session to build muscle memory.
My background in the Toronto Symphony Orchestra informs my ear for detail. You will see results.

Singing felt like a natural extension of my BMus training at the UBC School of Music. I was playing strings, yet my voice needed equal attention to thrive. I have since taught 106 students in my Montreal studio. We focus heavily on breathing control and head and chest voice mechanics.
My work involves teaching diction and articulation alongside advanced belting technique. Vibrato control and pitch control are staples of my curriculum. I address stage fear management through consistent, supportive practice. This is how I structure my vocal studio.
