About Cillian
I have been working in the engineering industry for some time now, and here I have learned how to explain my ideas to others in a clear and concise manner. This helps me to teach students topics that they quite struggle with, as I can break the topic down in a clear manner.
I also have taught students in my universities formula student society complicated engineering topic, such as the finite element method. I try and teach to people as if they knew nothing at all, and try and understand the other persons perspective while they are learning something new.

I have helped multiple students in both Junior and Leaving Cert maths improve their grade, through remote 1-1 lessons.
Typically, students approach me with a topic they struggle with and we walk through the topic together. I explain my tips and tricks for awnsering questions. Worked examples are done by the student while teaching to keep engagement high. Once a topic is covered, I walk through exam questions with the student.
I have been teaching approximately 3-5 students for a year now, and lessons last an hour.
I am a 21 year old graduate in mechanical engineering, and I currently work as an aerospace engineer where I use mathematics every day.
