I emphasize vocal health and care because your instrument needs to last a lifetime. Advanced learners usually focus on complex phrasing, while absolute beginners spend time grounding their pitch control.

"I teach because music is language. Vocal health is vital. I have worked with 473 students over 7 years to build sustainable habits. My degree is a BA Musique populaire from UQAM, which informs my approach to genre styling and rhythm.
Many of my students are performance-focused, while others are absolute beginners just finding their voice. My personal narrative includes working with French learners and guitar students, which makes me versatile as a teacher. I often reflect on my own training to help you navigate sight singing or pitch control. It is all about the sound you make."
