About Cadence
"Spending 13 years balancing studio sessions and stage time informs my approach to teaching guitar today. I hold an Artist Diploma in Guitar Performance from the Manhattan School of Music, which keeps my standards high.
Most of my work involves helping self-taught players find structure or supporting intermediate learners and kids. My daily routine involves keeping my guitar playing sharp and my teaching practical. I often find that the best musicians are those who remain curious about the mechanics of their instrument.
You will find that I keep our interactions clear and motivating at all times. It is my priority to ensure that progress is audible during our time together. I teach guitar full time because I enjoy the process of watching students grow.
My own musical journey remains a central part of how I communicate concepts to you. Teaching is simply the most rewarding way for me to spend my afternoon."

"Many guitarists believe that soloing requires natural talent rather than a foundation in theory and technique. In reality, improvisation is a skill built on a deep understanding of fretboard logic and consistent practice patterns. We utilize my background from the Manhattan School of Music to break down electric and acoustic techniques into manageable pieces. I incorporate blues progressions and strumming patterns to ensure that your playing sounds professional and intentional.
My 13 years of experience allow me to identify exactly where your technique needs refinement during our sessions. We address music theory not as an abstract chore but as a tool to expand your creative output on the instrument. The goal remains consistent progress that you can hear for yourself every single week.
It is helpful to treat the guitar as a conversation that gets easier with time and focus. You will find that the technical barriers begin to disappear once we apply the right musical habits. Everything flows from there."
