I am a middle school math teacher entering my 7th year of teaching. I have taught computer science, 6th-8th grade math, Algebra 1, and 5th/6th grade science. I enjoy getting to know my students and working with them to be successful in a subject that many students tend to shy away from.

I like to start my lessons with a warmup to review any prerequisite skills necessary to be successful in that day's lesson. I also guide students through the lesson, allowing them to explore the topic and process, rather than just tell them how to do it and move on. Lessons are for students in middle school math or Algebra 1.
