About Yvonne
The resonance of a perfectly placed note vibrates clearly through the entire upper chest. I begin by assessing your range to create a personalized song list built around your unique vocal characteristics.
Pop, musical theater, and classical pieces become accessible once we refine your pitch control. My 13 years of performing across Canada inform how I teach stage presence and management. Because I value your progress, we revisit challenging sections until your sound is consistent. I have spent 5 years observing how students adapt to new vocal challenges.
We will prioritize your comfort while pushing the boundaries of your current ability. I look forward to hearing your progress as we develop your repertoire.

Holding a BMus degree provides the technical framework for all my vocal coaching. Classical and folk performance has defined my life for 13 years.
My 5 years of teaching experience includes working with 308 individual students. I focus on helping teens and intermediate learners navigate their unique vocal range. Head and chest voice balance is a specialty I refine with every singer. We tackle stage fear management through practical, measured exercises.
Developing performance confidence is central to how I structure our time together. You will find that my approach to genre styling is highly analytical.
