About Cheryl
Singing is rarely about hitting the perfect note on the first try. Working professionals and hobbyists often find that the most growth happens during the messy warm-up phase. We will build your range while managing stage fear through specific microphone techniques.
You can expect to spend time on vibrato control and proper belting. I assign homework vocal drills after every session to keep your instrument sharp between our meetings. Feel free to join me for a session whenever you are ready.

Songwriting was the gateway to my formal training. I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music from McGill University to better understand the anatomy of sound. The stage is where I feel most at home. My methodology relies on the traditions of French chanson.
I focus on breathing and articulation as the foundation for any genre. It is quite straightforward.
