About Skylar
A warm-up begins with a focused breath and a clean note. We move through specific exercises to build your range and control, treating the voice as a finely tuned instrument. My background as a songwriter informs how I teach sight singing and vibrato control to my students.
It is a collaborative process of discovery. We keep the atmosphere steady and encouraging while we work through your repertoire. I promise to keep the feedback grounded and practical throughout our time together.

I teach because song is the most honest way to communicate. Singing is a physical act. My 13 years of experience allows me to guide hobbyists and advanced candidates through the complex mechanics of the voice. I combine my BM degree with a deep understanding of stage fear management and microphone technique.
