About Jacob
I have been playing guitar and writing songs for over 30 years. I crave new and interesting ideas, never afraid of thinking outside the box. Writing songs has served as therapy for my ADHD. I sing and write lyrics as the inspiration flows. While I love the freedom to explore I respect the music theory that allows me to explore. Drills and scales are needed to embed skills that let you trust your instincts and help improvisation. Also builds confidence to feel like you can contribute to a collaboration.

The guitar is an amazing tool that can be used to create beautiful and impactful art. I can help walk you through the process of writing a song, help you find ideas to make your songs stand out. We evaluate strengths and weaknesses and then make plans to improve those areas. But we still create as we learn. We start writing songs with the skills you got and let the process teach us what we need to know.
