About Lavonne
I suppose music just became my second language during my time at UBC. Singing is an act of vulnerability that requires a safe space to explore. I work with diverse learners to master warm-up exercises, vibrato control, head and chest voice, performance confidence, and exam preparation. I have taught 122 students ranging from children to adults.
It is vital to me that my instruction stays neurodivergent affirming and supportive. What specific vocal goals are you hoping to reach today?

The joy of singing comes from a tension free body. 8 out of 10 students report increased range within their first few sessions. Drawing on 13 years of experience, I guide you through warm up exercises and vibrato control to build your head and chest voice.
I hold a BM Vocal Performance degree from UBC which informs my technical approach for every student. Being a musician is a lifelong process that I am honored to share with you.
