About Flavio
I am an Italian Master's Degree graduate in International Relations, located in Brussels after an internship at the European Commission. I have a consistent background teaching English, including teaching Yazidi refugee classes in Greece of all skill levels, from absolute beginners to students fluent enough to have a conversation. Additionally, having been myself a student with an excellent French teacher on Superprof, I have learned several teaching tools that I found to be extremely effective for my own progress, which I am now eager to share with new students. As a native speaker with a rich vocabulary, I can not only teach the grammar and syntactic structures that form the basis of the language, but also the nuances of formal and informal speech, cultural references, etc.

While my perfect mastery of English and solid command of French allow me to meet the student's needs, my classes will be held in Italian to the largest extent possible - depending of course on the level. My typical 1h class will include:
- A quick review of the last class and of homework, if applicable
- A reading exercise with annexed quiz aimed at increasing vocabulary, adjusting pronunciation and cadence and learning new grammar / syntax structures , followed by
- A conversation exercise aimed at strengthening fluency of use of new vocabulary, and listening skills
- Homework usually entails exercises for written production
A 2h class would go further in depth on each of these fields , including listening exercises from youtube videos with subsequent conversation to ensure the comprehension of the content.
Compatibly with the level, the topics of the classes will be tailored to the student's interests.
