About Adan
I'm Adan, studying Maths, Further Maths, French and Philosophy at A-level. I got all 9s in 12 GCSEs as well as 1580 in the SAT and the top grade in FSMQ. Both my SAT and GCSE scores put me in the top 0.02% of exam participants. For fun, I play football and I'm trying to get recruited to US universities for it. I am happy to share my notes for all my GCSE subjects and offer tutoring sessions in Biology, Chemistry, Maths, English and French up to GCSE level. Having just taken the GCSEs last year, I can offer methods of efficient revision as well as exam technique that teachers don't give. My school instructed us to revise for 120 hours over Easter and I did nowhere near that thanks to efficient methods.

The most important thing to achieving a 9 in French GCSE is knowing the vocabulary list. My tutees are given access to Quizlets containing all the words on the AQA syllabus. During sessions, we work through listening and reading past papers, focusing on the student's weaker areas. For the speaking section, students are given the questions they will be asked in the exam in advance. We work together to create answers that give the students full marks if memorised. Those same answers can then be used in the writing section. The topics and questions asked are the same so memorising these answers guarantees 50% of the marks for the entire exam. Obviously, memory hiccups and mind blocks in the exam may mean not all 50% of marks are achieved. Nevertheless, creating and memorizing this list along with learning the vocab list puts the student in a hugely advantageous position. I myself got 98% in the speaking and writing sections by memorising a single list of answers.
