About Zacc
I wanted to become a teacher because I believe education is essential for creating opportunities, supporting personal growth, and improving society. I am passionate about helping young people develop both practical life skills and confidence in their abilities, particularly within IT and computing. My experiences working in schools have shown me the importance of creating safe, engaging classrooms where students feel supported and challenged to succeed.
I am especially motivated to improve perceptions of computer studies by showing students that IT is far more than programming alone. I want to encourage creativity, problem-solving, and real-world digital skills while making the subject accessible to a wider range of students. Inspired by teachers who were firm, fair, and encouraging, I aim to build positive relationships with students, maintain high expectations, and help every learner reach their potential.
Teaching also appeals to me because it is collaborative and constantly evolving. I value teamwork, professional development, and using research-informed strategies to improve my practice. Ultimately, I want to inspire students in the same way my own teachers inspired me and make a meaningful difference to their future opportunities and confidence.

I'm Zacc,
Education professional with experience supporting students across a range of roles including Qualified Teacher, Learning Support Assistant (LSA) and Cover Supervisor. I specialise in GCSE English, Spanish and Computer Science, helping students build subject knowledge, confidence and effective study skills tailored to their individual learning needs.
As an LSA, I have extensive experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), adapting learning approaches to meet individual needs and helping learners overcome barriers to education in a supportive and inclusive environment.
I am passionate about helping learners develop confidence, resilience and the skills they need to succeed in their education and future pathways, particularly when supporting students who may face barriers to learning.
I bring a student-centred approach, strong pastoral awareness and experience delivering engaging lessons and personal development sessions that encourage discussion, reflection and personal growth. I am committed to creating inclusive learning environments where students feel supported, valued and confident in their abilities, enabling them to fully engage with their learning.
Through my experience, I have developed a strong ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues and families, allowing me to provide consistent guidance and support. I take pride in helping learners remain motivated, develop independence and achieve their potential both academically and personally.
I can travel locally, meeting at the student’s home address or at a local public meeting place. Alternatively, online sessions can be held if preferred.
