About Poppy

I am a first class psychology graduate and am currently studying for my MSc in Forensic Psychology and Mental Health.

I am well researched in a broad variety of psychology modules and I have lots of experience working as a teaching assistant in both mainstream and SEN schools.

I am calm and approachable and would make your sessions stress free but productive.

About the lesson

I am very friendly and will explain concepts clearly and at a speed that suits you. I am happy to be guided by the type of tutoring you feel will be most beneficial for your learning but will always be friendly, approachable and clear during our tutoring sessions.

It would be great to understand more about what you are hoping to gain from your tutoring experience, whether that be help with specific exams, coursework or just concepts you can’t quite understand. I will then plan sessions to help you overcome any academic obstacles and help you achieve the best grade possible.

Due to my relatively recent completion of A-levels and Bachelors degree (and current study of my Master’s), I am aware of the current content and style of answer the lecturers/examiners are looking for. Consequently, I will be able to help improve your understanding of concepts and ability to construct essays, in a way that not only suits you but also adheres to the mark schemes and exam boards.

Please let me know any questions you have!
