About Joanna

I am a recent Matriculant taking a gap year to travel and explore. I finished high school with 3 distinctions, one being in business studies which I want to tutor, I have helped out many friends throughout high school and have seen great results as I achieved only distinctions since taking up the subject in Grade 10.

About the lesson

My teaching method is based on the students personal understanding of the subject before I start teaching them. For the first few lessons, I will review the subjects topics with the student and determine where their trouble areas are and what to focus on.
I also believe in using real life examples in my teaching and comparisons of what is happening in our current economy and business world to bring understanding.
But most of all I believe a disciplined but comfortable and friendly enviroment is key to a student being open and honest about their problem areas and any questions they may have.
