About Hyrum
Hi, I’m Hyrum— a 2100+ rated chess coach with over 10 years of experience teaching kids, teens, and adults. I’ve won multiple blitz and rapid tournaments and have defeated titled players both over-the-board and online. My coaching is structured and concept-based, helping students reduce blunders, build strong fundamentals, and break through rating plateaus faster.
