About Daniela
Hi! My name is Daniela, and I am currently a 3rd year university student studying Childhood and Youth Studies at Carleton University with a minor in American Sign Language. I have a strong passion for working with children and helping students grow both academically and personally.
I am patient, understanding, and committed to creating a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence in themselves. I understand that every child learns differently, so I always try to adapt my teaching style to match each student’s individual needs and learning pace.
I specialize in English tutoring for students from Kindergarten to Grade 6, including reading, writing, grammar, spelling, vocabulary, and comprehension. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to help them enjoy learning and feel proud of their progress.
As someone who is currently pursuing a degree focused on children and youth development, I value encouragement, communication, and patience in every lesson. I strive to make learning engaging, supportive, and stress-free while helping students develop skills that will benefit them both inside and outside the classroom.

Supportive, engaging, and patient learning environment. I adapt my teaching style based on each student’s needs, learning pace, and personality. Interactive learning, positive reinforcement, and step-by-step guidance. A typical lesson usually begins with reviewing previous material and identifying areas that need improvement, I then introduce new concepts. What sets me apart as a tutor is my patience, strong communication skills, and ability to connect with younger students. My lessons are designed for students from Kindergarten to Grade 6 who may need extra support in English, homework help, reading comprehension, writing development, grammar, vocabulary, spelling, or overall academic confidence.
