About Mike

I’ve spent the last 20 years being deeply involved in the guitar and love the feeling of passing my experience on to others to help them achieve their goals and enjoy the pleasures of playing guitar and music.

Early on people would ask me if I taught lessons at my gigs. I came to find that I enjoyed it a lot and had a knack for helping others learn too.

I’ve been writing music, performing and recording since 2001. I started teaching in 2003. Graduated from Musicians Institute in 2006. Since then I have also created guitar curriculum for a music tech company that has been distributed to Guitar Center and packaged with Fender guitars.

About the lesson

We will do a free introductory session where I will get an idea of where you are and what your goals and interests are.

I have worked with adults, teenagers, and kids. All skills levels and styles.

Find someone who has your interests and learning style in mind.

Recently a student broke though a plateau and it was great to see her progress all of a sudden sky rocket. Sometimes there will be those stagnant moments, but if you keep going you will eventually break though it.
