Hi there! I’m Nicole, a classically trained vocalist with a Bachelor’s Degree in Vocal Music Education and a Master’s in Vocal Performance who has been teaching exclusively online for music schools over the past 9 years. As an award-winning vocalist and founder of VoxBox Voice Studio, I’m a passionate voice teacher & coach that has had countless students audition and be accepted into some of the best colleges & conservatories in the country, such as the Berklee College of Music, the New England Conservatory, NYU’s Tisch School of the Performing Arts and Eastman School of Music. Likewise, younger students have also been accepted into various performing arts high schools and programs. While others have performed in off Broadway Musicals, and select elite performance ensembles such as the Boston Pops, and the Boston Swing Orchestra. Whether you need just a few lessons for audition prep or if you’re in it for the long haul, I’ve got you covered. But, enough about me. This is about you!

Drawing on years of performance, virtual 1:1 and classroom experience, you will have a voice teacher & coach that believes in you out of the gate and will work just as hard as you do to help you attain your singing goals through rigorous, individualized instruction in vocal technique, range development, and stylistic versatility —accessible to singers at every level and age. My students don’t just learn to sing better — they learn to perform with confidence and intention to achieve their goals. You’ll be amazed at how much you’ll grow and what you’ll be able to accomplish.

As my students will tell you, “if you’re gonna make a mistake, make it big!” That’s one of my mottos. I’d rather have you hit a huge well projected incorrect note, than to keep it trapped inside. If we hear where and what the issue is, we can fix it! Be prepared to do all sorts of crazy, fun, and rigorous technical skills to help unlock your voice and reach your full potential. Don’t worry, anything I ask you to do, I will be doing them right along with you.

My background in music education and performance not only allows me the ability to model the technique we will use, but also has given me a unique position to know how to teach effectively while employing the teaching method that is unique to you. You will be learning the Italian Bel Canto technique—a technique that will turn you from a good singer to a vocal powerhouse in any genre.
