About Ani
I am an enthusiastic piano tutor with over 16 years of experience teaching students from school, college, and professional backgrounds. I strongly believe that learning piano is a journey that combines technical mastery, musical understanding, and creative expression.
My teaching approach emphasises patience, clear communication, and personalised lessons designed to meet each student’s unique learning style and goals. I focus on building strong fundamentals such as finger technique, hand coordination, rhythm, and sight-reading while gradually introducing advanced techniques.
Alongside piano, I teach music theory, ear training, and rhythm exercises to provide a comprehensive understanding of music. Lessons are engaging, interactive, and often include song practice, creative exercises, and performance opportunities. I guide students to develop confidence, consistency, and disciplined practice habits while fostering a lifelong love for music.

Creativity is at the heart of my teaching. Students are encouraged to explore improvisation, composition, and various musical styles, developing both skill and individuality. Flexibility ensures lessons are adapted to match each student’s pace, learning style, and preferences, making learning both efficient and enjoyable.
Alongside piano, I teach related subjects such as music theory, sight-reading, rhythm exercises, and ear training. This integrated approach allows students to build technical skills while also enhancing musical understanding and expressive abilities. My aim is to help students become confident, well-rounded, and passionate musicians who enjoy the process of learning and performing music.
