About Mingyi

I’m an Accounting Master's graduate based in Sydney, with several years of practical accounting experience, including at a registered tax agent firm. My professional background covers payroll, BAS preparation, reconciliations, and financial reporting. This experience allows me to teach accounting not just from textbooks, but from how it’s actually applied in real businesses. I’m patient, supportive, and detail-oriented. I enjoy helping students find clarity in complex topics, and I always adapt my teaching style to match each student’s learning pace and background. Many students tell me they finally “understand how accounting really works” after my lessons, because I explain not just what to do, but why it matters. About the lesson

Hi! I’m an Accounting Master’s graduate based in Sydney. I offer bilingual (English–Chinese) tutoring for both high school and university students who want to improve their understanding of Accounting, Business Studies, and Economics.

My lessons are designed to make complex ideas simple and practical. I focus on helping students truly understand key concepts rather than memorising them, using clear step-by-step explanations, real-world examples, and guided practice exercises. I encourage questions and always make sure students feel comfortable and supported during lessons.

A typical class lasts about one hour and includes concept review, problem-solving practice, and short feedback sessions to strengthen learning. Lessons are flexible and tailored to each student’s goals, pace, and upcoming assessments.

I hold a Master’s degree in Accounting from an Australian university and have several years of practical accounting experience, including working at a registered tax agent firm. This background allows me to connect academic theory with workplace applications — such as payroll, BAS preparation, and financial reporting — so students can see how what they learn applies in real business situations.

My lessons are suitable for:
• High school students (Year 10–12) studying Business Studies or Economics
• University students taking introductory or intermediate Accounting courses
• Students from diverse backgrounds who prefer clear English explanations or bilingual support (English–Chinese)
