Relevant math tutoring experience
From 2017 -08-29 to 2018-12-01: Tutoring GRE math( GRE stands for Graduate Record Examinations, Got 170/170 myself)
My students were mostly from college. Had 13 students in total.
All of my students managed to achieve their desired scores.

Other experience and skills:
Stock management, video/picture editing, programming, driving, boxing.

About the lesson

it is often the case, especially in math, that we use COMPLICATED formulas, ELUSIVE language, and FRIGHTENING symbols to express SIMPLE concepts and ideas. This could easily cause students' misinterpretations on their course contents which eventually leads to their suffering in mathematics.

The structure of the course includes:
1. Mindset
(Based on my previous experience, This is really important. You won't learn anything if you are not interested or even dislike the thing you are trying to learn)

2. Course content
(Lead the students through their textbooks with my additional demonstration. Highly focus on building students' ideas. Let them express their ideas instead of feeding them with my ideas. )

3. Practice
(Let the students apply what they learn so they can start handling their knowledge)

4. Homework and Exams
I will check students' homework before let them hand it in. Also, preparation for exams will be held before exams.

5.Review
Periodic review is a very very important step. A good review will help students to refresh and enhance their knowledge. The review will include both previous chapters and assignments/exams.

Math is always about UNDERSTANDING. The correct way to study math is never to force yourself overdoing tons of practices or memorizing the textbook but to really understand the ideas in the textbook so the knowledge literally becomes part of you.

in my lessons, there will be a lot of similes in plain English, examples from real events, little games & experiments other than dreadful definitions and endless practices, so that students will have a really solid grab of the core of their math courses in the most comfortable way.

Since I am new to this platform, the rate is only $15/h!! I don't really care about money. I earned enough to buy my first Honda vehicle when I was 17. All I want is to help students enjoy math rather than suffer from it. If it turned out that I did not meet your expectations, I would personally return all of your money.
