About Casey
"Earning a Bachelor of Music from the Australian Institute of Music taught me the theory behind the songs. I confess that I prefer a beat-up acoustic guitar over any expensive studio gear.
Over 13 years, I have taught 234 students how to play their own music. We work on songwriting, strumming patterns, and power chords to get you moving. Fingerpicking and barre chords define my acoustic technique. I hope to see you soon for a session."

"Playing the guitar is actually easier when you stop trying to make it sound perfect immediately. Most people struggle because they think the strings have to be hit hard to get a tone. My 13 years of gigging taught me how to find the sweet spot with minimal tension. I offer a free trial session to assess your starting level and see if we click.
You should feel relaxed while holding the instrument. I tailor everything to your specific pace. We look at basic mechanics first. Does that sound like a good place to start?"
