About Randy
Returning learners often feel like their fingers have forgotten the fretboard after a long break. I walk into your home with a guitar and a portable amp to meet you right where you are.
My formal training comes from a Bachelor of Music in Guitar from Berklee College of Music. These 5 years of experience allow me to break down complex theory into stuff that actually makes sense. My teaching style is loose but structured underneath because nobody wants a boring lecture. We focus on acoustic technique, songwriting, and maintaining your instrument so it stays playable.
Reading tabs and electric technique are also on the menu if you want to switch things up. I work with adults, teens, and advanced players who are tired of guessing how to progress. Let us get your playing back on track with a clear path toward the songs you want to master.

Because I earned my Bachelor of Music in Guitar at Berklee, I know exactly how to blend performance with technique. You can expect a specific practice module with every lesson to keep momentum high between our meetings. Sometimes we might even crank the volume on the portable amp if we need to hear that electric grit.
We will balance strumming patterns with your goals to ensure you feel a sense of achievement. Your ultimate aim is to sound great while playing your favorite music.
