I teach in a supervisory style (similar to what you’d find at Cambridge) - while working through problems and developing understanding of concepts I often stop when I feel a student needs it and ask consolidation questions focused on the “why” rather than how to deepen understanding, while also highlighting key exam techniques to help ace your GCSE/ A-levels. Typical lessons would be a minimum of 1 hour and can be up to 3 continuous hours taking place online. We will always start with an introductory recap of previous lesson, then work on the current topic by doing practice questions and applying the content practically. I have tutored GCSE and A-levels for 2 years since I finished my GCSEs. I achieved 10 grade 9s at GCSE and have been admitted to University of Cambridge to study Aerospace Engineering with 5A*s at A levels in Maths, Further maths, Physics, Chemistry and Music. I have also voluntarily taught Further Maths GCSE as a part of my school’s curriculum and have helped students achieve grade 9s in FM GCSE, with a 100% score from one of my students. I took Mechanics Major, Statistic Minor and Pure in my Further Maths A-level and am especially confident with Mechanics and Pure. My tutoring services are aimed at GCSE and A-level students (years 9-13) who are studying Maths/ Further Maths/ Triple Science at GCSE and Maths/Further Maths/ Physical Chemistry and Physics at A-level.
