About Nora
I have 7+ years of experience teaching chess to students who want more than surface-level improvement. My background includes a Bachelor of Arts focused on chess theory and historical analysis. Chess is both science and art. My lessons emphasize positional play, dynamic decision-making, and strategic planning. We study openings with purpose. Middlegames are where creativity lives. Endgame technique builds confidence. I believe in complete chess development through analysis, pattern recognition, and disciplined thinking. Students train tactics, visualization, and clock management. Understanding comes before speed. I’ve worked with Early Intermediate and Advanced Intermediate players.
