About Elio
I am an enthusiastic saxophone tutor with more than 8 years of experience teaching college students. My aim is to make saxophone learning simple, practical, and enjoyable. I believe students learn best when lessons are well-structured and connected to real music.
I focus on developing strong basics such as tone control, breathing technique, finger coordination, rhythm, and timing. I also encourage creativity through improvisation and expressive playing. Real-world music examples help students understand how practice applies to real performances.
I use innovative teaching tools like recording analysis, guided practice routines, and interactive play-along sessions. These methods help students hear their improvement and stay motivated. Music theory, ear training, and sight-reading are also part of my lessons to support complete musical growth.
I create a calm and positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and improving step by step. My goal is to help students enjoy saxophone learning while becoming confident and skilled musicians.

My Saxophone teaching style combines structured learning, creativity, and mentorship. I believe music education should be enjoyable but disciplined. I focus on teaching proper breathing, tone control, embouchure strength, finger coordination, articulation, and rhythm in a clear and organised way.
Creativity is encouraged through sound exploration, improvisation practice, and learning music that matches the student’s interests. I act as a mentor by guiding students patiently, helping them overcome challenges and build confidence. I also support students in developing good practice habits and a positive mindset.
Critical thinking is developed by teaching students how to analyse music, understand rhythm and scales, and improve through listening. Accountability is maintained through structured practice routines, regular assessments, and progress discussions. Along with Saxophone, I also teach Music Theory, Sight Reading, Rhythm Training, and Ear Development to support complete musical growth.
