About Justin

Aeronautical engineer and pilot in the Marine Corps. I currently help test new systems for the Marines and I have worked in aviation or test positions since 2004. Hiking, camping, home improvement, cooking on the grill, and hanging with the family occupy my free time.

M.S. Aeronautical Engineering, Air Force Institute of Technology
B.S. Aerospace Engineering, Auburn University

About the lesson

I enjoy diving in and finding a way for a problem or concept to make sense or click with a student. Then I strive to show why that concept is important, where it is used, and how students may use it in the future.

My experience lies in engineering and aviation, which are all mathematics in disguise. I am comfortable with geometry, algebra, calculus and differential equations. For engineering students, I can easily provide help with statics, dynamics and basic controls. I tinker with Python and Raspberry Pi projects and can provide help with those applications at the beginner level.

Previous students were in high school or college, and I am also open to middle school.
