About Gonzalo
Teaching has become the norm for me. I have been doing it for 3 years now, taught over 1,000 hours of content to a variety of students ranging from children, to special needs, to high-performing 17-year-old students. All my students that have been with me for at least half a year have gone to achieve their goals, some of them even going from failed exams to achieving A’s. I am an aspiring entrepreneur and engineer. I have been awarded a scholarship at Imperial College London, an Arkwright Scholarship during high school, as well as a Nuffield Researchers Placement and a Gold CREST Award by the British Science Association - in addition to doing work experience for Rolls-Royce. I achieved all A’s in my 5 Advanced Highers at school and am on track to graduating with a First in my degree.

I am able to teach anyone from Advanced Higher level downwards, age ranging from toddlers to 18-year-olds. I will aim to structure lessons by understanding the needs of each individual student, in addition to carrying out my own evaluation of the student's needs by giving out questions to check understanding/progress. I like working with whiteboards/jotters where I can rub things out, change numbers and show to the students where I am coming from, step-to-step, so they get a better understanding.
