About Siddarth
I am an Aerospace Engineering masters graduate from the University of Sheffield. I have a passion for mathematics and physics and have regularly taught A-Level mathematics before to large groups of pupils. Having been very recently in school myself, I understand the way that the topics need to be approached for a student to grasp it properly.
Music is a passion and I have been playing guitar for over 12 years. During Sixth form I completed a Grade 8 in Jazz guitar (with Distinction) and have written a paper on harmony in Jazz. I have an eclectic taste in music but particularly enjoy listening to live as well as studio based Rock and Metal musicians. My playing is heavily scale and harmony based, drawing from non-Western forms of music too. Played in front of large auditoriums of people, up to crowds of 3000. I have casually organised and held guitar lessons over many years.

For maths, my skills can cater for anyone between Years 7-13. I always start ground-up, from the textbook. Whichever syllabus, or for whatever topic a student is struggling at, laying the mathematical foundation is important. First theory, then practice. Understanding the mechanics behind a question is key to a high mark. Comprehensive lessons can be structured to fit into 1 hr, 2hr or 30 minute spaces.
Musical lessons are very much based on what the student wants to learn and their level of proficiency. Please do tell me what your interest is. My musical education has been performance, improvisation and harmony based (theoretical in a practical sense) and I am willing share that knowledge to help anyone from casual guitarists to aspiring musicians.
