About Shriya
I just graduated from the University of Southern California with my B.S. in Aerospace Engineering with a minor in Astronomy, so you know I really love math! I'll be going back to finish my Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering within the year. While I've been going to school, I teach for LAUSD as an extracurricular STEM club instructor, and have been doing that for 2.5 years, and it's been super fun! Besides teaching, I love to cook, listen to music, and build things.

My lessons focus on using hands-on activities as much as I can, and when possible . In addition, I'm happy to take as much time as you need to go through the harder parts that might be difficult to understand, and use as many different ways as we know to figure out how you learn best. I can teach anyone K-12, but teaching younger students in math and science is where my passion lies. Learning how you learn best and listening to what you need help with is the best way for you to succeed and I'm all about working with the student to make sure they learn, but also enjoy it too!
