About Abhishek

I believe that there is a universality when it comes to curiosity. What I mean is, we as humans want to understand how and why things work. Having spent years diving into engineering and physics topics, I have also discovered that I love explaining these concepts to those willing to listen, especially the moment when something clicks. It's a two-way street really, because the better I understand a concept, the more equipped I am to explain it in simpler terms. Tutoring gives me a chance to share not just knowledge, but also the way of thinking that helped me connect abstract ideas to real-world solutions. For now, I’m tutoring part-time while I figure out the next step in my career. So, if you want to explore these subjects in depth, or are stuck with a complicated topic, I'd be happy to help.

About the lesson

I make sure students feel in control of what they are learning. I break down concepts step-by-step, and use visual examples wherever possible, in the form of diagrams and real-world examples. Problem-solving strategies are emphasised. Most of my lessons are an hour long, which is enough for exploring a concept, work through examples, and answer questions. I have a research-centric background with both informal and formal experience, teaching friends and being a volunteer at various educational drives. My lessons are mainly targeted at high-school students and early undergraduates (GCSEs and A-levels).
