About Joan Tomeu
Hi! I am an aerospace engineering student specializing in aeropropulsion at UPM. I consider myself a good teacher and with great ability to make classes entertaining and get close to the student, achieving fast and robust learning. I manage to give examples and teach the theory so that it is easily assimilated. I adapt to any level without problems.

My teaching method consists of facing and teaching the student the complete problem from the beginning, so that when the theory is explained to him he knows what he will be working on. Once the problem is identified, I will explain the theory with easily understandable examples. I don't like being too "academic" or "theoretically perfect" a teacher. I think that if the student knows how to solve the problem, it doesn't matter if he doesn't know Newton's Laws by heart. Practice is what makes you learn and what guarantees passing, not just theory. Once the student has understood the explanation, he is perfectly capable of solving the problem.
