About Pawan

Hello! I am Pawan, an Arena International Master (AIM), FIDE-rated competitive player.

Over the past 10+ years, I have dedicated my career to coaching chess—mentoring 300+ students globally across the US, UK, Australia, UAE, Singapore, and India. My students range from 4-year-old beginners taking their first moves to 70-year-old enthusiasts, as well as active tournament players competing at district, state, and national levels.

As a high-level competitive player (holding 2400+ rating on Lichess and 2200+ on Chess.com), my coaching philosophy goes beyond memorizing engine moves. I teach students how to think independently over the board, build deep positional vision, calculate sharply, and maintain emotional resilience during critical moments.
