About Rachel
I am a student currently enrolled at Stony Brook University. I have experience formally tutoring elementary and middle school aged students, and peer tutoring high school students. I have maintained a GPA consistently over 100, and excelled further in my STEM courses. In regards to standardized testing, I got a 1530 on the SAT: 770 math and 760 EBRW

Most simply, I tailor my lessons to the student. I keep them as engaged as possible by bringing up real world examples, and explaining the logic behind the work they do. In addition, through regular check-ins and a comfortable learning environment, I am able to make sure the student is on track.
